Ivermectin is an effective COVID-19 drug, doctors attest

Remainder of sample articles:

Its usage as a prophylaxis is perhaps the most interesting and most urgent for solving the current health crisis. Early on, the pharmaceutical industry managed to convince many governments that newly developed vaccines will be the only solution, leading to huge guaranteed pre-sales; but it will still take months before new vaccines can make a significant difference on a global scale.

Ref. 34 : study results online. Effect of a combination of iota carrageenan (nasal and buccal) and ivermectin (buccal). I notice that the two groups are not identical, the ivermectin group had more male and older people. Outcome: 0 out of 131 in the ivermectin group were infected, while 11 out of 98 people in the reference group were infected. That's impressive!

Ref. 40 : Unexpected access problem! Khan et al, "Ivermectin treatment may improve the prognosis of patients with COVID- 19". The only indication is that the title is carefully positive, which is consistent with Kory's testimony.

Ref. 43: "Use of Ivermectin Is Associated With Lower Mortality in Hospitalized PatientsWith Coronavirus Disease 2019". The study by Dr. Rajter was an observational study and the article looks high quality. The presented numbers seem to match their conclusion that they "observed a significant association of ivermectin with improved survival for patients admitted with COVID-19".

Finally, references 46, 47 and 48: The first one is from Researchgate site, real-world evidence from Peru. "In these eight Peruvian State analyses, Ivermectin distributions preceded sound reductions in excess deaths and case fatality rate (CFR)." Looks good, especially as there is a "control", a state that distributed ivermectin to less than 10% of the COVID patients.

The second one is an article on TrialSiteNews. A Tale of Three Cities in Brazil. A similar battle as with HCQ occurred, where medical authorities tried to prevent cities from attempting to protect their populations [edit: that may have been done with good intentions]; however in this case the cities won with the help of the courts; the phrase that may be the key phrase of the corona crisis: "The results seemed promising, yet the reaction of the establishment was stunningly negative." Anyway, comparing how three cities fared that distributed ivermectin to nearby cities in Brazil, "These numbers strongly suggest that for all three towns severity (COVID related deaths) was reduced and a much lower level of new cases were confirmed ". That looks quite convincing.

The third one is a Twitter thread, also about Paraguay; it has been reported by Dr. Kory in his testimony. It looks quite good, but slightly less convincing to me.

Note: there's also a review paper by Dr. Kory, and when searching for Kory's paper I first stumbled on another review paper with similar conclusions.
